Sunday, August 6th: After boarding from our Fort Wayne Lima Rd pick-up location, we head for our overnight stay along the way. Dining on your own.
Monday, August 7th: Following breakfast, we are on our way to Vermont, stopping for lunch on our own to our hotel in Killington/Rutland area. We will be welcomed with a reception followed by dinner and an evening of entertainment.
Tuesday, August 8th: Breakfast at the inn then we are off with our local guide for the day in northern Vermont. We tour Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory...mmmm... Then we arrive at the Trapp Family Lodge where a hot and cold luncheon buffet awaits. We then continue on to Cabot Cheese & Lake Champlain Chocolate shops with a stop at a covered bridge for photos. Dinner is on your own.
Wednesday, August 9th: We are on the road again to New Hampshire with a stop at Quechee Gorge, Vermont's "Little Grand Cayon" We go for a ride on the Loon Mountain Gondola with views of the great mountain range. We then check into our hotel where another welcome reception is waiting for us. We have time to relax before dinner then after dinner we watch the movie "On Golden Pond".
Thursday, August 10th: Arise to another breakfast at the inn, then depart with a local guide for Squam Lake, where "On Golden Pond" was filmed. Enjoy a narrated morning cruise and be on the lookout for loons! Lunch is on your own in the Lakes Region. We then are off to Lake Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad to board the train for a scenic ride along the shores of the lake, complete with a roast turkey dinner.
Friday, August 11th: Following breakfast, we travel to our overnight stop along the way home. Dining on your own.
Saturday, August 12th: Enjoy breakfast, then we are off for home - taking fabulous memories of our time in Vermont and New Hampshire with us!
