Monday, November 6th: After boarding from our Fort Wayne, IN Meijer Lima Rd. pick-up location, we head south for our overnight stay. Dinner is on your own.
Tuesday, November 7th: Enjoy breakfast then we depart for our second nights lodging. Dinner is on your own.
Wednesday, November 8th: following breakfast, we depart for our first stop in Texas...Dallas, a modern metropolis in northern Texas. We check in to our hotel and relax before dinner in the area.
Thursday, November 9th: After breakfast, we meet up with a local guide for a full day of touring to include Dallas highlights. Your tour will end at the Southfork Ranch, the television home of "The Ewings" from the show "Dallas". After a tour of the Ewing Mansion, enjoy a wonderful dinner at Southfork Ranch.
Friday, November 10th: After breakfast, we meet our guide for a tour of the A T & T Stadium, which is not only the home of the Dallas Cowboys but also the largest domed structure and an art museum. After our tour, we continue to Fort Worth. Our tour will include such sights as the Cultural District and a tour through Billy Bob's of Texas, the world's largest honky tonk. You'll see a cattle dive of longhorns that parade right down Exchange Boulevard. The tour ends at the Stockyards where you will have time to browse the shops and have dinner on your own. Tonight's highlight is the Stockyards Rodeo.
Saturday, November 11th: After breakfast we head to Waco, in the heartland of Texas, to visit Magnolia Market at the Silos inspired by the Gaines of HDTV. There's something for everyone at the Silos, shopping, games, the garden and even a bite to eat from the assortment of Food Trucks. Afterwords, we travel to San Antinio, in south central Texas which features a rich colonial heritage. Upon arrival we check in to our hotel and the evening is yours to walk the Riverwalk... a public park featuring European-style passages with sidewalk cafes, galleries, boutiques and nightclubs. Dinner is on your own.
Sunday, November 12th: Following breakfast, we meet our tour guide for a full day of touring San Antonio's highlights to include The Almo, Mission Trail, Market square and so much more. Then we will enjoy an exciting Riverboat Cruise on the Paseo Del Rio where you'll have the best views of the Riverwalk. Dinner is on your own.
Monday, November 13th: After Breakfast we travel to Houston, known for being the world capital of space exploration, air conditioning, the international energy industry, petroleum exploration, and capital punishment. Arriving early afternoon for lunch on your own and to tour Space Center Houston, the official visitor's center of the Lyndon Johnson Space Center. Later, we check into our hotel and dinner on your own.
Tuesday, November 14th: We head north after breakfast. For our first stop on way home. Dinner on your own.
Wednesday, November 15th: Enjoy breakfast, we travel to our last night of lodging. Dining on your own.
Thursday, November 16th: After Breakfast we head for home with lasting memories of our trip to TEXAS!
