Monday August 1st: Leave our Fort Wayne pick up locations (Meijer on Lima Rd, Kroger at the Village at Coventry) and head north to the UP of Michigan. We will enjoy lunch in Mackinaw City, then head over for a tour of the Mackinac City Lighthouse. Then, we cross the Mackinac Bridge and head to Sault Saint Maire, MI for our overnight stay. After check in the evening is yours to wander the main street for dining and shopping.
Tuesday, August 2nd: After breakfast, we had over to the Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours for our tour through the locks and area. After lunch, we head west to stop at the Port Iroquios Lighthouse. Then, we travel over to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. It is also the home of Whitefish Point Lighthouse. You will learn how dangerous the waters of the Great Lakes are and history of ships that didn't make it. Afterwards, we head south to Mackinac City hotel. After check in, dining and the evening is yours.
Wednesday, August 3rd: After breakfast, we hop on the Shepler's ferry for a day adventure on Mackinac Island. The day is yours to enjoy biking, a carriage ride, shopping, dining, and taking in the breathtaking beauty of the island. We will depart the island at 3pm and head back to the Fort Wayne area. There will be a quick grab and go dinner on the way.
