Monday, October 30th: We will have an early morning departure from the Meijer on Lima Rd, Fort Wayne as we head east towards our overnight lodging for the evening.  Pack an overnight bag, please.  Dinner is on your own

Tuesday, October 31st: Fill up on breakfast for your busy day as we check out and depart for NYC.  We will meet our local guide for a tour of Upper Manhattan that includes:

• Lincoln Center and The United Nations

• Fifth Ave

• Harlem

• St. John Divine Cathedral and St. Patrick's Cathedral

• Central Park

• Rockefeller Center

Dinner will be at one of Manhattan's popular restaurants.  Afterwards, we travel to New Jersey to check in for the night.  

  

Wednesday, November 1st:  Today, after breakfast, you will see some of the most iconic sights in the United States.  We head to Battery Park to board a ferry to visit the Statue of Liberty and it's museum.  Next, the ferry will take you over to Ellis Island, a landmark that symbolizes our immigrant heritage.  The ferry returns you to Battery Park, where we will then proceed to the National 9/11 Memorial.  Have your tissues ready for this stop as it is very powerful reminder of a horrible day in our history.  Afterwards, we will have dinner at another Manhattan restaurant.

Thursday, November 2nd: After breakfast, it's time to meet your local guide for a tour of Lower Manhattan that includes:

• Soho

• Little Italy and Chinatown

• The Garment and Financial Districts

• Ground Zero

Afterwards, we depart for our evening stay (overnight bag, please).  Dinner on your own.

 

Friday, November 3rd: First breakfast, then checkout, followed by our journey home from your adventures in the "Big Apple"
