Tour Itinerary

Friday, April 14th: Depart from Fort Wayne from Meijer on Lima Rd and we head to Washington DC. Once there we check into our hotel and freshen up before heading to dinner.

Saturday, April 15th: After Breakfast, depart for a full day of touring with stops at:

  • Arlington Cemetery, Women in the Military Memorial

  • Marine Corps War Memorial's Iwo Jima Statue

  • Capitol Visitor Center, US Capitol and US Library of Congress

  • Supreme Court Building

  • A photo stop at the White House

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, FDR Memorial 

Dinner in the area then off to the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts. Then off to see the illuminated monuments.​

Sunday. April 16th: Enjoy breakfast then we are off to visit more memorials. After visiting the memorials, we are off to the Smithsonian Institution. Enjoy lunch on your own at any of the Smithsonian's cafeterias. This evening you will enjoy a delicious dinner in the area, followed by a relaxing evening.

Monday, April 17th:  After Breakfast at the hotel, depart for home with lasting memories of our stay in Washington DC.
